Describe the suggestion thoroughly:
There are some improvements to be made to LR that I have thought of. I'll go through each Last Request and suggest any possible changes. I will list the modifiers that should be allowed, and in some cases, note that any other reasonable modifiers should be allowed.

Shot for Shot:
Allowed modifiers:
  • One of the following:
    • Go for Headshots (not really a strict modifier, just really based on honor system) Neither player is considered rebelling or cheating if they hit a body shot.
    • AD only, or any other combination of movement and/or view (face a certain way) restrictions. Players must not restrict all movement keys (can do WS or AD).
  • One of the following:
    • Confined Area (within reason)
    • One confined line, wall, or area for each player

Gun Toss:

Often, prisoners give rules that while not unreasonable, are excessively detailed and difficult to understand. This usually results in a minor mistake by the Guard playing, and as a result, the Prisoner kills the Guard.
Gun Toss should be standardized in one of two ways:
  1. The only two (or three) options for gun toss are the following:
    1. Basic Gun Toss (mostly already in rules with minor improvements)
      1. Both the Prisoner and Guard must jump off from a specified point, but they are allowed to depart from the point within reason on the line perpendicular to the throwing direction such that they are not given any advantage.
      2. The gun must be thrown before the player hits the ground.
      3. The direction must be explicitly stated prior to the toss. Farthest in that direction wins.
      4. Gun Toss must happen at an easily accessible location (not easy for the prisoner, easy for any Guard. The Guard is allowed to refuse to throw from points that require map knowledge or parkour skill to access.
      5. Prisoners may not kill a Guard for ''delaying'' unless he is intentionally delaying.
      6. Custom Rules are NOT allowed.
    2. Rocket Toss
      1. Both the Prisoner and Guard must throw from a specified point, but they are allowed to depart from the point within reason on the line perpendicular to the throwing direction such that they are not given any advantage.
      2. The player must throw their gun into the air then hit it with their knife while staying within a reasonable distance from the starting point (they can move slightly to hit it)
      6. Each player has 3 tries to hit their gun. This does not mean they may pick the gun they already tossed and retry.
      7. Custom Rules are NOT allowed.
    3. Lazy Toss (OPTIONAL)
      1. Both the Prisoner and Guard must throw from a specified point, but they are allowed to depart from the point within reason on the line perpendicular to the throwing direction such that they are not given any advantage.
      2. Players may not depart from the point or aforementioned line to throw their gun. They must throw it directly from the point without jumping or crouching.
  2. Custom Rules within reason are ALLOWED
    1. The rules would be identical to the above list of possible gun tosses, but the gun toss can slightly alter the basic rules stated. While still within reason, if the prisoner requests to play with a modifier not on this list that is not directly prohibited (such as more than 1 Bunny-hop), and the Guard agrees, the Prisoner MUST perform the toss first. As we see how this works, we can add other modifiers and eventually have a concrete inclusive list that will make everyone happy. Guards, as always, are allowed to deny any unreasonable requests provided they are not listed below. One modifier from the list below may be used (Basic Toss = BT, Rocket Toss = RT, LT = Lazy Toss):
      1. Max-1 Bunny-hop before throwing the gun. Not performing the bunnyhop but attempting a jump is not considered rebelling or cheating. (BT)
      2. Wall Toss: Rocket Toss, but the player must not depart from the wall until their hit their gun, unless it is to pick up their failed toss attempt. (RT)
      3. Lazy Jump Toss: The player must jump, while not using any movement keys, and throw before they hit the ground. (LT)
      4. More suggestions for modifiers are welcome, reply to this post. :)
Knife Fight:

There should be a countdown like in Noscope battle.
Allowed Modifiers (one):
  • Right-click only
  • Left-click only
  • Confined area
Mag for Mag:

Remove this entirely. It's completely unfair.

Race:

Often, race is unfair for the Guard because they cannot see where the end is.
The only improvement I can suggest is, if possible, to fix the line connecting the start and end as it is often not visible.
Rock Paper Scissors:

No issues with this LR.
No Scope Battle:

Allowed modifiers:
  • Confined area
  • (and/or)
  • Movement restriction (Must be allowed to move with one set of keys (WS/AD)
Dodgeball:

While it does often take a while, I don't see any issue with it besides the fact that when you hit your opponent it doesn't register.
Allowed modifiers:
  • Confined area
  • (and/or)
  • Movement restriction (Must be allowed to move with one set of keys (WS/AD)
Suggest any other modifiers or possible improvements below.

Keep in mind that if implemented we can add more restrictions if modifiers are found to be too loosely defined or unfair, but eventually, they should be standardized and allowed without question.
All of these should have their own section in the rules if implemented. Happy to help. :)

Why would the suggestion be beneficial:

Standardizes LRs which gives the Guards a bit more clarity, and it diminishes confusion stemming from unnecessarily long rules. Overall it will be more fair and less sloppy.

Provide any proof of concepts, map links, etc.:
